Schöne Sommer-Füße, Teil 2 ! - Beautiful Summer-Feet, Part 2 !

by - Juli 17, 2010

About two week ago I had written about how to get beautiful summer-feet!
I´m writing today as a continuation about the footbath and various bath essences.
There are warm, soothing, refreshing and invigorating foot bath´s. But at the moment we probably prefer the cool, refreshing and invigorating foot bath (as the temperature is so high outside). It is relaxing, helps with excessive sweating and against fatigue. Thereby hot flashes can be alleviated. Make a footbath always with warm feet! The water should just reach to the ankles and do not let them stay longer than two minutes in the water! Then dry the feet thoroughly, so that the skin wont get irritations.
There are nice Bath essences for your feet! One of them I had mentioned before as I had written about how to get beautiful summer-feet.
Use for strained feet an herbal foot bath.
When the feet are dry and cracked , take in addition a few drops of geranium oil, orange oil and Patchoulioil. For deodorizing effects use azuleneoil, lemon oil and manuka oil.
The transpiration of the feet can be regulated through the essences such as peppermint, menthol and camphor in a neutral foot bath.
Refreshing are lime and lemongrass.
Vine leafs help particulary good when the feet are heavy and swollen.
